The Purchase
The Orange County Community Endowment Fund (OCCEF) purchased a 3-story, 127,000 sq. ft. fitness and event center in Fullerton, California, just 3 miles away from the Islamic Institute Of Orange County (IIOC). Our community's needs will be at the forefront while we begin remodeling and restructuring the center towards a master vision. Upon completion, the Meridian Qube will accommodate an estimated 500k Muslims in the greater LA region.
The Need
Through our sister organization, the Islamic Institute of Orange County (IIOC), we have listened to the needs and wishes of our community. A shared and repeated sentiment includes wanting a center driven by Islamic values in the promotion of the well-being of the community through fitness, healing, and a place of gathering and networking.
